How it works
Enadoc has a user-friendly interface and can also be accessed on a web browser. It is a document management solution that uses the Tag Cloud feature to visually represent content. Enadoc uses mathematical algorithms, which identify the frequency of each tag or keywords within the organization’s repositories. The tags or keywords with the highest frequency appear larger in the Tag Cloud while tags with lesser frequency appear smaller. Enadoc also has the capability to provide advanced search features based on parameters or full text searching.
On-Demand
Enadoc is a Cloud-based content management system that goes wherever you go. You can have all your documents at your fingertips, without compromising the security of the documents. The system is designed to integrate with touch-enabled devices ranging from your desktop PC to mobile hand held devices such as smart phones. This allows users to move across devices and geographical distances without compromising accessibility or usability of the system.
On-premise
The system also provides an on premise version for clients that do not require Cloud-based access. It provides all features as a Cloud-based deployment with geographically restricted access to the system.
Collaboration
Enadoc easily integrates with your existing enterprise solutions, allowing you more flexibility when adopting Enadoc as your document management solution. Its architecture enables external standard-based systems such as enterprise resource planning, human resource management, customer relationship management systems as well as legacy-based systems using web services and XML. This enables your existing systems to utilize Enadoc for image enabling, search results delivery, document capture/import and business process management/workflow reference management services.
Enadocs powerful tools and security can be used through existing systems without switching between multiple applications or the need for changing your entire ICT infrastructure.
Security
Traditional document management systems use a three-pronged security system, which falls in to two categories passive and active. The three security techniques are user based name and password protection, role based security and data encryption. However, these techniques alone are not sufficient in todays’ evolving IT environment. Threats and theft to corporate information comes from external as well as internal sources. Therefore, Enadoc provides three more security techniques to further safeguard your information. These come in the form of,
- Dynamic watermarking: Places information such as user, time and date on the displayed information, enabling stolen or copied documents to be traced back to the source that released the information.
- Document Class Security: Defines inherent security, features regardless of the user or granted role access. These security features could include no printing, no copying or emailing. Changes to this feature will require multiple authorized user authentication and the system will also send notifications to management users about any changes to its security settings.
- Document Security Level: Defines the level of security attached to the document. Security levels range from one to seven, with documents at level seven requiring multi authorized-user authentication for viewing. This also includes automated notification to management users about any changes to its security settings.
